Can you give me a little presentation of you ?
My name is Nicole, I am a 29 years old travel and food blogger from Berlin. Professional I am a Manager in HR Marketing. But since March I paused my job and travelling for six months. I am happy to have the chance to discover so many cool countries and city of this world but I am also always happy to be back home, because i really love my exciting hometown. I am what we call a « real Berliner ».
What do you like in general ?
I love art and photography. Additional to that, I quite good in baking. Discover new places even in the hometown especially by bike is what gives me a lot of energy for the daily life. Sometimes I go for a run or do yoga. There are just three things I need to be happy : a stylish cozy coffee shop, a piece of delicious cake and a real good milk coffee.
What is your favorite areas in you city ?
I couldn’t say that there is really one corner I like the most because what I like about Berlin are the different faces. But if I had to choose, it is the Oderberger Street which is part of Prenzlauer Berg. This part of Berlin is known for a lot of hipster families and good restaurants. The street I mentioned offers a lot of nice spots for breakfast, which is my favorite meal of the day.
How do you find the good spot / place ?
Sometimes just by biking through the city and stop when I see something nice or by the recommendations of friends. My friends live everywhere in Berlin, so I get a good mixture of spots. But there are also good websites which I read regularly, for example stilinberlin
L’ADRESSE DE NICOLE : Oderberger Str.38 Berlin
Why did you choose This place ?
Because Café Krone is just what I love : a stylish restaurant with a fantastic offer of fresh high quality food but for fair prices. And it reminds me of my New York trip and the Coffee shop where we went for breakfast there: the old stone walls and the wooden tables, the nice staff and the cozy but modern athmosphere.
Why did you decide to bring me there ?
Its located in one of my favourite streets in Berlin, as I mentioned before : Oderberger Streeet. Just a 15 minutes walk from our flat. And this is near to Mauerpark as well as to Mitte. So, for visitors it’s the perfect spot to start the day. Also Café Krone is great because they have an awesome range of dishes for breakfast. My boyfriend likes the sandwich with pulled pork, you had a pancake with eggs and I had a cheese breakfast and everyone was happy.
How did you find this place, What is the concept ?
I found this place just by passing by. And I don’t know how often Ive been here but we are going here from time to time, not too regularly. Just because I love to try as many restaurants and cafés as possible and so I often go out for something new instead of remaining to something I already know. But Café Krone is one of my safe places when I don’t want to look up for something new and just want to feel a little bit like at home or in New York 😉
The concept : tasty sandwiches and fairtrade coffee as well as pancakes on wooden tables or homemade cakes on cozy couches. They opened in 2010 and the quality is always high.

I like the brand stores such as Cos which are not special for Berlin (a lot of them around the area of Hackescher Markt) as well as smaller boutiques in the Kastanienallee.
A visit at the CO Berlin (Photo Exhibitions) is great
